About the tour 

This tour will take to to Darjeeling, one of the most beautiful hill stations in this region. From there to Gangtok, capital of Sikkim, one of the cleanest and the safest hill stations in India. Then go for an excursion to Changu lake. You will also visit Kalimpong, famous for its flowers and its spectacular views of the Himalayas particularly Mt. Kanchenjunga.

In Darjeeling see the sunrise over Mt Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) from Tiger hill, the Ghoom monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and the Japanese Temple. Enjoy rides in the Ropeway and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway also known as the Toy Train. 

In Kalimpong visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Pine View Nursery.

In Gangtok enjoy great views of the Himalayas from Tashi view point, see the Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (closed on Sunday & others holidays), Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday & others holidays), Dro-dul Chorten, Rumtek Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. Also go for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Ft / 43 kms, 03 hrs).
